A LONG-ONLY momentum-CONFIRMATION breakout strategy on LINKUSDT.BINANCE perpetual futures (Binance USD-M) using DAILY bars. Mechanically equivalent to the XRP, DOGE, and SOL same-template strategies already in pipeline — identical entry triggers, identical 1.5× volume requirement, identical exit logic, identical parameters — applied to LINK as the fifth instrument completing the daily-30-bar-breakout coverage matrix (ADA at 50-day, XRP/DOGE/SOL at 30-bar/30-bar-low, plus LINK at 30-bar). LINK is selected because: (1) LINK has only ONE active pipeline strategy (Multi-Week Trend Continuation on daily bars) — adding a 30-bar breakout adds within-instrument diversification with a different signal type (price-level event vs MA-crossover regime); (2) LINK precision is confirmed in the precision map (proven by the multi-week trend strategy running); (3) LINK has 5+ years of clean Binance USD-M data with no deprecation risk; (4) LINK has historically shown clean momentum-confirmation breakouts on volume during multi-month rallies (Q3 2021 oracle-narrative rally, late-2023 RWA narrative, Q1 2024 ETF speculation, Q4 2024 institutional flows) — exactly the setup this mechanism targets; (5) LINK has distinct oracle-infrastructure microstructure that differs from BTC (largest cap), ETH (smart-contract platform), SOL (high-volatility L1), DOGE (meme), XRP (regulatory) — making LINK a clean fifth-instrument generalization test of the breakout mechanism class. Built entirely from the session's EMPIRICALLY-VALIDATED working pattern: daily bars (validated frequency, generates 25+ trades/year), momentum CONFIRMATION direction (NOT pullback, NOT counter-trend), volume-spike confirmation (working mechanism class), breakout-failure exit (LINK weekly lesson — ironically this same instrument's prior weekly version failed for sample-size reasons, which the daily version corrects), outlier-dependency abandonment rule. NOTE on the LINK weekly outlier failure: that strategy abandoned because the WEEKLY 12-bar timeframe produced only 16 trades over 6 years (single outlier in Aug 2020 dominated). The DAILY 30-bar version should produce 25-50 trades over the same period — explicitly addressing the failure mode while preserving the same instrument. Cross-instrument parameter consistency: SAME 30-bar lookback, SAME 1.5× volume threshold, SAME 20-day max holding, SAME 20% profit target as XRP/DOGE versions.
