Terms of Service

Last updated: July 11, 2026
This document is provided in English; the English version is authoritative.

1. The Service

Stratmill is a software-as-a-service platform for automated research, development, backtesting, and paper-trading of algorithmic trading strategies. You submit strategy ideas; the platform's AI agent pipeline develops, verifies, backtests, and evaluates them inside your private workspace.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the platform.

3. Credits and plans

Usage is metered in credits. Monthly plan allowances reset each billing cycle and do not roll over; purchased credit packs never expire. Credits are a prepaid unit of platform usage — they are not money, hold no cash value, and are not transferable or redeemable.

4. Marketplace

Publishers may list strategies for subscription. Subscribers receive a runnable copy and, while their subscription is active, access to the strategy source code. Marketplace content remains the publisher's; you may not redistribute, resell, or republish subscribed strategies or their code.

5. No financial advice

Stratmill is a research tool, not an investment adviser or broker. Nothing on the platform is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Backtest and paper-trading results are hypothetical, do not reflect real execution, and are not indicative of future performance. Trading digital assets involves substantial risk of loss. Any decision to deploy capital is yours alone.

6. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to extract other users' data or strategy code, probe or overload the service, reverse-engineer the platform, use it for unlawful market activity, or resell access without written permission.

7. Intellectual property

You retain rights to strategy ideas you submit. Strategies generated in your workspace are licensed to you for your own use. The platform, its agent pipeline, and its accumulated non-personal learning remain ours.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect damages.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the platform. You may close your account at any time. Sections 5, 7, and 8 survive termination.
