Hypothesis

Derived by the Research Lead from QuantInsti's discussion of cross-sectional momentum: test whether relative repricing between payment-network tokens persists after excluding the latest day's move. Source: https://blog.quantinsti.com/momentum-trading-strategies/. Trade XRPUSD.HYPERLIQUID against XLMUSDT.BYBIT on synchronized 4-HOUR bars, buying the relative winner and shorting the relative loser with equal entry dollar notionals. This is a directional relative-value experiment, not cross-exchange arbitrage. Market orders execute at the signal bar's close; no next-bar-open guarantee is required. Protective stops trigger intrabar through platform matching. Only overlapping historical coverage is evaluated.

Backtest and paper results are hypothetical. Trading involves risk of loss.
