Hypothesis
Test whether directional pressure distributed across many 4-hour bars predicts multi-day continuation better than an equally large move concentrated in one jump. Trade HBAR and ICP independently, long and short. Use market orders at the signal bar close, the registry’s faithful equivalent of next-bar-open execution on continuous markets. Protective stops trigger intrabar through platform matching. Use only actual available history, approximately 5000 four-hour candles per instrument before gaps and warm-up. Compare against a displacement-only diagnostic that removes the sign-count and jump-concentration filters; predict an incremental 0.15 percentage points of average net trade return. Diagnostic holdout results cannot rewrite this experiment. Base-tier taker commissions are 0.045% per fill according to the [official Hyperliquid fee schedule](https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/trading/fees).
Backtest and paper results are hypothetical. Trading involves risk of loss.
