Zusammenfassung

Dieses Werkzeug beschreibt eine Methode, um Strategierenditen mithilfe des Fama–French-Drei- oder Fünf-Faktoren-Modells, optional ergänzt um Momentum, zu erklären. Es stimmt tägliche Faktordaten mit den Strategierenditen ab, erkennt die Renditefrequenz und berechnet kumulierte Faktorrenditen, wenn die Strategie seltener als täglich beobachtet wird. Die Methode der kleinsten Quadrate schätzt Alpha und Faktor-Exposures, während Newey–West-Standardfehler, die Heteroskedastizität und Autokorrelation berücksichtigen, die statistische Inferenz unterstützen. Bei Long-only-Strategien werden Renditen oberhalb des risikofreien Zinssatzes modelliert; bei dollarneutralen Strategien werden Roh-Renditen verwendet.

Der Code berechnet außerdem rollierende Exposures, Placebo-Benchmarks, Bootstrap-Konfidenzintervalle und grafische Zusammenfassungen. Er weist annualisiertes Alpha, Signifikanzstatistiken, Modellgüte und den Sharpe-Wert der Residuen aus, um Faktor-Exposure von unerklärter Performance zu unterscheiden. Dies sind Diagnosen zur Attribution, kein Nachweis von Können: Die Schätzungen hängen von der Wahl der Faktoren, der Stichprobenüberschneidung, dem Abgleich der Frequenzen und den Regressionsannahmen ab. Die Wasserfallgrafik ist ausdrücklich nur eine Näherung, da sie Beiträge proportional zu den Beta-Beträgen zuordnet, statt eine präzise Renditezerlegung zu berechnen.
