Exporting to other platforms

Export strategy code with target-specific compatibility checks and a report of the verification performed.

What an export is

The Export section of a strategy page ports the strategy to another platform's code. The exporter agent writes the port. Where a compatible target engine is installed, it backtests the port on Stratmill's bars and compares trades. Otherwise the report identifies the limited checks performed; self-checking is not a trade-parity result.

Supported platforms

Freqtrade, Jesse, backtrader, vn.py, QuantConnect LEAN and Hummingbot ports can be tested in the target engine when it is available. If the engine is missing, the report identifies the limited self-checks performed; it does not claim that trades match.

TradingView Pine ports use an open-source Pine runtime when available. This is not a test on TradingView itself. The report identifies the checks actually performed.

MetaTrader 5 exports are checked for structure and parameter values only. Their trades are not compared with Stratmill's trades.

How each port is checked

The port is backtested over the last 180 days, or a longer capped history, and its trades are compared with Stratmill's. Mismatches are fed back to the exporter for up to 3 repair rounds. A port is aligned when at least 90% of trades match in both directions, with entries no more than a bar apart. The report shows the share of our trades matched, the share of theirs matched, the correlation of per-trade returns and the window used.

Downloads

Each export provides the port file, the platform's configuration or settings file, the parity report and a short guide to running it on that platform. The optimiser's parameter ranges are carried over in the target platform's own format.

Who can export

The owner of a strategy can export it. A marketplace subscriber can export or download a subscribed strategy only while the subscription is active and the listing offers its code. Agent work for an export is charged in credits like other agent calls.

Running on your platform

If you run an exported port yourself, link it under Running on your platform: a Freqtrade bot, a QuantConnect live project, a Hummingbot instance, or one of your exchange accounts for any other platform. The connection is read-only, enforced in code: Stratmill can read fills but can never trade or stop your bot. Credentials are checked with a single read, encrypted and never shown again.

Drift alerts

Stratmill pulls the fills of each linked deployment, replays its own backtest over the same period with the exported parameters, and scores the last 14 days at least daily. When the deployment drifts, for example by trading differently, going silent, costing more than twice the modelled costs or drawing down too deeply, you get a notification. Sync now re-checks at once.
