Live market and data

The market views and the data catalogue behind every backtest.

Cryptocurrency

Live charts and order flow for Binance spot and futures symbols with funding, open interest and liquidations streamed from the exchange. The funding rate shown is the live venue figure, not a stored value.

Stocks

The Stocks page covers 15 markets: the US, Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, the UK, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Switzerland and Singapore, with session hours and global benchmarks such as indexes, currencies, commodities and rates.

Equity venues you can backtest

US stocks and ETFs (around 560 symbols from the S&P 500 and liquid ETFs) can be backtested, paper traded and traded live. They trade on the New York session calendar with holidays and half-days, with no commission but a modelled spread and market impact, up to 2x margin, shorting with a borrow cost, and split-adjusted prices; dividends are not included in results.

Hong Kong and China A-shares can be backtested long-only without leverage, with their stamp duty and levies, their own session calendars and lunch breaks. Daily price limits and next-day settlement of China A-shares are not modelled, so intraday round trips there are optimistic. Additional international backtesting engines roll out venue by venue behind availability gates. Check the selected venue before starting; collected stock data does not imply paper or live execution. Global benchmarks are research inputs rather than automatically tradable instruments.

Spot forex

Spot forex research covers 32 currency pairs using Yahoo historical bars. Coverage checks apply to every test; approved source gaps do not waive other missing data. New backtests use measured spreads and modelled overnight financing, based on an approved version of historical interest-rate data. Earlier tests may use assumed spreads without financing; their saved cost model stays unchanged. These are modelled costs, not a broker quote. Missing or outdated data can prevent a test. Forex strategies can be paper traded: fills use live indicative quotes with the same modelled spreads and overnight financing as the backtest, and trading pauses while the forex market is closed at the weekend. Live forex trading is not yet available.

Spot gold

Spot gold can be backtested with spread-only costs, overnight financing and up to 20x margin on its weekday trading calendar. It is not available for paper or live trading.

Options chain

The options chain shows Deribit, Binance, OKX and Bybit crypto options and delayed US equity and index options, with implied volatility term structure, skew, open interest by strike and put/call ratios.

Prediction markets and news

Prediction markets show odds and volume for event markets. The news feed collects articles from many sources, groups them into stories and measures the price reaction from the moment each story first appeared. News is dated so a backtest can only use what was available at the time.

Analytics

Correlation matrices, performance heatmaps and treemaps across markets, industries and symbols, with global benchmarks for comparison, built from the same catalogue the backtests use.

Data coverage

The catalogue covers Binance futures and spot, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid and Deribit with bars on several timeframes, plus funding, mark and index prices, open interest, long/short ratios, liquidations and option volatility. Binance and Bybit history is collected back to each symbol's listing. Missing bars are collected on demand when a backtest needs them, never substituted with another instrument or timeframe.

Data integrity

A continuous auditor checks the catalogue against each exchange's real session grid, marks true gaps, and re-collects them. Prices keep each instrument's exact precision, and bar timestamps mark the close so that no strategy ever sees a bar early.

Your own data

My data lets you upload or link your own data for backtests and optimisation: a CSV or Parquet file of price bars, or a timestamped series such as funding, sentiment, on-chain or macro data. When enabled for your workspace, My data appears under Strategy Tools in the sidebar. A file can be up to 50 MB, and a workspace can keep up to 20 datasets.

How your data is checked

Each file is validated before it can be used and gets a report card: required columns, time zone, order, duplicates, gaps against the bar interval and the trading calendar, impossible values, extreme jumps, and whether timestamps mark the open or the close of a bar, so that no backtest sees a bar early. Validated data is stored privately in your workspace, never in the shared catalogue, and is deleted 180 days after it was last used or changed.

Where your data can be used

Every result built on your data is labelled user-provided data, on the strategy page, in lab jobs, exports and track records. Where the platform already has the same market, the platform's data is used and your file is offered as a comparison. A strategy that trades or reads your data cannot be promoted to paper or live trading, because there is no live feed for it, and it cannot be listed on the marketplace unless it is re-validated on platform data.
